Do you promote your business or organization on Facebook? Facebook is one of the easiest, cheapest forms of marketing you can do!

Facebook Business Pages

I’ve helped many businesses set up a Facebook page, also called a Facebook Business Page. Facebook helps you connect with your clients and have a conversation, engage your customers. It’s a great way to keep them up-to-date on what’s going on in your organization. I recommend you continue to use an email marketing along with connecting and engaging via Facebook. It is a very powerful tool and should be a part of everyone’s marketing pie.

Facebook Ads

Facebook also offers targeted online ad opportunities for your business or organization. I’ve helped my clients create and manage ads on Facebook. You can target your ads to a geographic area within a certain amount of miles from a zip code, you can set daily limits for your campaign so your ads stay well within your marketing budget. It’s quick and easy. See how effective it can be for you! Call to get more information or send me an email.

Facebook Plugins for Your Website

I’ve been helping clients update their website by adding a plugin for Facebook. If you’d like to see what it looks like, click on the links below. If you have a WordPress website or blog and you have a Facebook Business Page, you might want to enhance your website with this great plugin. It’s quick and easy to install. I can do it for you or teach you how to do it yourself. It helps add fresh content to your website automatically.

Facebook Business Page for Live Your Vacation in Grand Junction

Goal setting is a popular topic in December and January, but what about September? I think of September as a time for learning something new. The kids are back in school and our lives fall into a routine again. When my kids were young, summer was filled with mini vacations, watching our daughters, and squeezing in work when and where we could among the fun and activities. I tried to slow it down and enjoy the summer so I wouldn’t complain that it went “too fast” and it worked. I always felt like I had a full summer, down time and active times, but come September, I was always ready to get to work!

September brings about the thought of learning something new. I like to review my business and see what else I’d like to learn. Community Education always mails out a catalog and I read it cover to cover, looking for something new to learn. I turn down a few pages for myself, one for my husband and a few for the kids when they were school age. As entrepreneurs, business owners, and those in control of growing our businesses ourselves, we are constantly learning.

I encourage all of you to consider taking a class in your community to learn something new. There are a lot of great offerings out there. Learn more about Facebook or LinkedIn, learn how to operate your camera and take better pictures, learn how to relax and relieve stress, adopt better eating habits or learn to cook healthier meals for you and your family.

If you want to learn more about WordPress websites, or a website for a membership club or group, let me know!

Now, let’s turn that around…ever thought about teaching? How could teaching a class expand your business? I recommend you contact the Community Education Organization in your community. Ask them about the process, when is the next deadline, what is the most popular night or day for classes, how do you get paid, what’s the fee, do they promote the events above and beyond being included in the catalog, how can you promote the event to increase attendance? Find out more about teaching…you may end up learning something new about your business.

Goal setting is a popular topic in December and January, but what about September? I think of September as a time to “Start Fresh”. The kids are back in school and our lives fall into a routine again. For me, summer was filled with mini vacations, watching our 9 and 11 year old daughters and squeezing in work when and where we could among the fun and activities. I tried to slow it down and enjoy the summer so I’m not complaining it went “too fast” and it worked. I feel like I had a full summer, down time and active times, but boy am I ready to get back to work!

September brings about the thought of learning something new. I like to review my business and see what else I’d like to learn. Community Education always mails out a catalog in August and this time I read it cover to cover, looking for something new to learn. I turned down a few pages for myself, one for my husband and a few for the kids. As entrepreneurs, business owners, and those in control of growing our businesses ourselves, we are constantly learning.

Now, let’s turn that around…ever thought about teaching? How could teaching a class expand your business? Ask Members Dr Becky Pauly or Terri O. Johnson. They have classes offered right now in the District 112 Community Ed catalog.

Many of our members have taught in the past or are currently teaching. I recommend each Chapter invite the Community Education Organization that serves your region to a WIN Meeting. Ask them about the process, when is the next deadline, what night is the most popular night or day for classes, how do you get paid, what’s the fee, do they promote the events above and beyond being included in the catalog, how can you promote the event to increase attendance?
